Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using QuikWallpaper ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Use of the App

What You Can Do

• Personal Use: Use QuikWallpaper for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Download Wallpapers: Download wallpapers from supported public sources (Bing, NASA, Pexels)
• Add Personal Photos: Import your own photos as wallpapers
• Share the App: Recommend QuikWallpaper to friends and family

What You Cannot Do

• Commercial Use: Use downloaded wallpapers for commercial purposes without proper licensing
• Redistribution: Redistribute wallpapers downloaded through the app without permission
• Reverse Engineering: Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Abuse: Use the app to overwhelm servers or violate rate limits
• Illegal Content: Import or share illegal, offensive, or copyrighted content

Content and Copyright

Downloaded Wallpapers

Wallpapers downloaded through QuikWallpaper come from third-party services:

• Microsoft Bing: Subject to Microsoft's terms and conditions
• NASA APOD: Generally public domain, but some images may have restrictions
• Pexels: Subject to Pexels License and terms of service

Important: You are responsible for ensuring your use of downloaded wallpapers complies with the source's licensing terms.

Your Personal Photos

When you add personal photos to QuikWallpaper:

• You retain all rights to your photos
• Photos are stored locally on your Mac only
• Nothing is uploaded to our servers or any cloud service
• You're responsible for ensuring you have rights to any photos you import

App Content

The QuikWallpaper app itself, including its design, code, and features, is owned by QuikJoy LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our data practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• We don't collect personal information
• All wallpapers are stored locally on your Mac
• Your personal photos stay on your Mac
• API keys are stored securely in your macOS Keychain

Third-Party Services

QuikWallpaper integrates with third-party services to download wallpapers. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms:

Disclaimers and Limitations

App Availability

We strive to keep QuikWallpaper available and functional, but we cannot guarantee:

• Uninterrupted access to the app
• Availability of third-party wallpaper sources
• Compatibility with future macOS versions
• Error-free operation

Content Quality

While we work to provide high-quality wallpapers, we cannot guarantee:

• Image quality or resolution
• Absence of corrupted files (though we automatically detect and remove them)
• Appropriateness for all users
• Availability of specific images

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuikJoy LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, use, or profits.

App Store Terms

QuikWallpaper is distributed through the Mac App Store and is subject to Apple's terms and conditions:

• Your use must comply with Apple's App Store Terms of Service
• Updates are delivered through the App Store
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's policies

Updates and Changes

App Updates

We may update QuikWallpaper to:

• Add new features or improve existing ones
• Fix bugs or security issues
• Maintain compatibility with macOS updates
• Comply with App Store requirements

Terms Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

• We'll update the "Last updated" date
• Post the updated Terms on our website
• Notify users of significant changes if required

Your continued use of QuikWallpaper after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Termination

You may stop using QuikWallpaper at any time by deleting the app from your Mac. We may discontinue the app or restrict access if:

• You violate these Terms
• Required by law or legal process
• We decide to discontinue the service

Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases, but locally stored wallpapers remain on your Mac.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where QuikJoy LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
